Get ready to dive into an exciting book filled with unique features and interactive elements! Let me paint a vivid picture of what you can expect from this captivating read:
With its captivating features, educational elements, and engaging activities, this book is a treasure trove of learning and entertainment. It's an adventure waiting to be discovered, making it an excellent addition to any young reader's library.
The antics of this story are based on true incidents. I used to say to my husband “I should write a book on these dogs, rather than just tell you what they have done today”. At the time it was a throw-away line, but later I thought “why not?” So, I decided to give it ago, but being a retired high school teacher and people recently coming out of Covid lockdowns, I thought I would add the home-schooling component. But the book really came alive when I was introduced to Chris Brunton, the cartoonist. Chris helped with so many aspects of the book, which was appreciated. I hope you enjoy this book. I have another in mind for my first tropical island dog.
The charming canine duo in the book are Braidie, who has a distinctive grey and white coat and is a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Maltese Terrier, is a six-year-old and Leoh a seven-year-old purebred Shih Tzu.
Small dog breeds require regular haircuts because they are like little fluff balls. The new owners in the book prefer to keep things simple by forgoing the fancy show dog looks in favour of a more low-maintenance strategy that complements their dogs' down-to-earth personalities.
Braidie’s nose is short, which is typical of her breed, but it can cause breathing problems. The owners are aware of this issue and take extra care to ensure Braidie's comfort and health as she ages.
Leoh and Braidie are adorable little companions with their own quirks and needs. The owners love them just the way they are and do their best to make sure their furry friends are happy, healthy, and not driving the neighbourhood crazy with their barking.
